"Good deal for a fun day!"
The tickets felt totally worth it. We spent a few hours there and never felt like we got ripped off... good views, fun stuff to do, and the price seemed fair!

"We had an okay time at…"
We had an okay time at Ober Gatlinburg. The mountain views were really pretty, and a couple of the rides were fun, especially for the kids. Some of the attractions felt a little dated though, and a few rides were shorter than I expected after waiting. Not sure how to explain it, but nothing was really bad, it just wasn’t super exciting either. The staff was fine and everything seemed clean enough. I’d maybe go again if we were already in town, but I probably wouldn’t plan a whole day around it.

"The drinks were solid, but…"
The drinks were solid, but the food was just kind of average, especially for the price. I wasn’t devastated or anything, but I had built it up in my head a bit while visiting, so when the food came out just okay, my soul left my body for a second. Not terrible at all, just expected a little more.

"Pretty okay day, but the snow was hit or miss"
Had an alright time out there. Some of the runs were actually fun, but there was this icy stuff in spots and that thin snow here and there that made boarding a little frustrating at times.

We rented ski gear from Ober Gatlinburg, and the process was easy for the most part. The line actually moved faster than I thought it would, and the guy helping us was nice and made sure the boots fit properly. One pair was way too tight, but they swapped it out without making a big deal. The prices were about what you'd expect for the area. Still, I left feeling a little disappointed because the gear seemed kind of worn and the whole experience didn’t feel quite as good as I hoped. I’d probably rent from them again if I needed to, but I wouldn’t be super excited about it.

We were hoping this would be a fun outing for the whole family, but the kids got bored quickly. I guess it’s only family-friendly if your family doesn’t need much to do. The staff also wasn’t particularly helpful, which was a nice little bonus to the experience. Overall, not somewhere we’d rush back to.

"Friendly staff and a smooth visit"
I had a really nice time here. The staff were super friendly and helped us figure out where to go without making us feel rushed at all. The service was quick too, with only a couple of small waits here and there. Overall, it was a smooth experience and made the visit even better.

"Planning a Visit Was Way More Annoying Than It Needed to Be"
I tried using obergatlinburg.com to plan our visit, and wow, what a fun little challenge that turned out to be. The site was awkward on my phone, pages loaded strangely, and I kept bouncing around just to find basic details that probably shouldn’t be that hard to locate.
Then the prices and hours we saw online didn’t seem to line up with what we were told later, which was super helpful for messing up our plans. Maybe it works better for someone else, but for us, the website made the whole process more confusing than useful.

I tried booking tickets through obergatlinburg.com, the whole reservation process felt way more confusing than it should have. The pages were loading strangely, and I couldn’t tell for sure which time slot I had actually selected, which is frustrating when you’re trying to plan a day out with your family.

After I paid, the confirmation took forever to come through and still didn’t give me much confidence that everything was set. I ended up having to call just to make sure we even had tickets. If a company is taking people’s money upfront, I feel like they have a responsibility to make the process clear and reliable. It really wasn’t worth the stress.

"Refund was slow a little, but okay"
Canceling was easy for me, and the refund, after a few days, did show up. Took a bit longer than I expected maybe, but in the end it worked out fine.

"Surprisingly Felt Safe the Whole Time"
We took the kids to Ober Gatlinburg i was kind of impressed with how safe everything felt. I didn’t expect much beyond the usual busy tourist attraction chaos, but the staff were actually paying attention, watching the rides, and giving clear instructions instead of just hanging around. Even the lines were handled better than I figured they would be. It made the whole day a lot less stressful for us

"Wish I’d Read the Reviews First"
I wish I had read the reviews before going. The signs were really confusing, and we ended up walking the wrong way more than once. The staff did help a bit when we asked, but after a while it just got frustrating and annoying.

"Not worth what we paid"
I felt like the place was neglected. The bathrooms were gross, there was trash sitting around, and a lot of the areas looked really worn out. I checked my email receipt afterward and just kept thinking that for what we paid, it should’ve been way cleaner and better taken care of. We won’t be going back.

"Getting There Was the Hard Part"
I’m giving it 2 stars mostly because the whole parking and getting up there situation was such a hassle. We thought it would be straightforward, but we ended up spending way too much time just trying to figure out where to park, and then the transport part felt more confusing than it needed to be. Once we finally made it there, things were fine, but the arrival process kind of wore us out before we even started. If you’re planning to go, I’d definitely leave extra time and be ready for some frustration getting in

"I took my mom, who uses a walker..."
I took my mom, who uses a walker, and overall we did have a nice time. A few staff members were genuinely helpful, which I appreciated. But getting around was trickier than I expected in certain spots, and the info online didn’t really make it clear what we were walking into. It kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving, we’d figure out one part, then hit another area where it wasn’t obvious what the accessible route was. We still had fun, but I really wish the mobility details were easier to find and more accurate.

"Helpful updates when the weather turned"
We were planning to head up, but the weather got bad and a few things ended up closing. The site had the closure info posted quick, which saved us from wasting a trip. I do wish it was a little easier to find the info, but overall it was really helpfull.

"I don’t know, I just got a bad..."
I don’t know, I just got a bad feeling walking through the animal areas. The enclosures seemed small and plain, and watching the animals made me sad. Maybe I’m wrong, but it didn’t really feel like their wellbeing was the main priority.

"Beautiful views, but did anyone else feel it was overrated?"
The mountain views were gorgeous and easily the highlight of the whole visit. But aside from that, I felt like everything was overpriced and way more crowded than I expected. We ended up spending a lot of time just waiting around instead of actually enjoying things. I’m glad I got to see the scenery, but I’m curious if other people had a better experience because I don’t think I’d go back.

"Wish We Had Spent the Money Elsewhere"
I kind of regret buying tickets. We spent way more time standing in lines than actually enjoying anything, and it was packed no matter where we went. It really felt like they let in way too many people, and even the staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. By the end, we were just annoyed, tired, and wishing we had skipped it. Definitely didn’t feel worth the money for us.
